From Wagon Wheel to Aladdin 🧞♂️
This month’s alumni spotlight is extra special to me because it comes with a good story. 🌃
I know many patrons have fond memories of getting to know 2018–2019 alumni Cameron Sirian and watching him shine on the Wagon Wheel stage. Maybe you were one of those patrons! He appeared in seven Wagon Wheel productions including Seussical, Saturday Night Fever, Freaky Friday, Matilda, and Singin’ in the Rain.
After his time at Wagon Wheel, Cameron joined the National Tours of Aladdin and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. And now? He’s living in the Big Apple and recently made his off-Broadway debut in ROMY & MICHELE: The Musical. ⭐ (Off-Broadway just means the theater has fewer than 500 seats. You learned something new today!)

And here’s the fun part. When I was in New York last November, I randomly ran into Cameron while grabbing dinner before seeing a Broadway show. Completely organic. Completely unexpected.
We got to talk about what Wagon Wheel still means to him today and how it served as a launchpad for his career. Kinda cool, right? That’s the Wagon Wheel difference, my friend. 💚
