2023 Summer Season

Wagon Wheel Junior

Wagon Wheel Junior presents two full musicals each year. The cast is comprised of students age 9 to 18 from across the region. Students of any skill and experience level are welcome to audition. The rehearsals operate like our professional theatre productions, with the rehearsals lasting just two weeks ending with three performances on the final weekend. The Wagon Wheel Theatre is dedicated to practicing inclusive, diverse, and non-traditional casting. We encourage all youth from the greater Warsaw area and beyond to audition.

2023 Fall Audition and Performance Dates
Auditions for the 2023 October Junior Performance will take place in August of 2023.
Rehearsal dates, subject to change, will be October 12, 2023 through October 26, 2023.
Performance dates, subject to change, will be October 27, 28, and 29, 2023.

2023/2024 Winter Audition and Performance Dates
Auditions and performance dates for the 2024 Winter Junior Performance are yet to be determined.

Wagon Wheel Community Theatre

Wagon Wheel Community Theatre presents 2 to 3 plays a year and all cast and crew members of the productions are volunteer, ameauter performers of our surrounding community. Wagon Wheel Community Theatre welcomes all adults 18 and older of any skill and expeirence level to audition. When auditions are held, volunteer positions are also available for technical components of that play including costumes, lighting, sound, set building, paintin, props, and more backstage work.

Symphony of the Lakes

The Symphony of the Lakes orchestra holds auditions annually in the fall. The SOTL partners with other local classical music programs, Grace College and the Classic Arts Programs, on many concerts and events throughout the year providing musicians with around 5 concert opportunities each year. Instrumentation requirements for each concert varies significantly. Each concert usually has between 1 and 3 rehearsals and 1 or 2 performances. Musicians who accept positions (other than sub) with the SOTL are expected to participate in no less than 2 concerts each year but are encouraged to participate in all 5 cycles as it applies to their instrument. SOTL pre-selects audition materials and will provide the materials when you register to audition.

Compensation
Principal players will be paid at $63 per rehearsal and $80 per concert. Section members will be paid at $50 per rehearsal and $63 per concert. There is no compensation for mileage.
