Wagon Wheel
Conservatory

Wagon Wheel Conservatory is the education branch of Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts.

Geared toward providing a well-rounded theatre education to kids and adults in northeastern Indiana, we currently offer acting classes, dance classes, voice lessons, piano lessons, and summer theatre workshops.

Our high-quality workshops and classes are run by theatre and artistic professionals who are passionate about offering performing arts learning opportunities to the community and educating the next generation of performers. At Wagon Wheel Conservatory there is a strong focus on helping each student grow in confidence and find their authentic voice as a performer. We create a safe space to experiment, grow, and learn.

Unlike other community programs, you don’t have to audition to take part in Wagon Wheel Conservatory. The Conservatory is for all, whether you are looking to learn a new skill, make friends, or deepen your love of the arts. All are welcome as we believe the arts meet intrinsic needs for all ages.

Program Offerings

Wagon Wheel Conservatory offers programming in three different formats:

  • Classes: Acting and dance classes are offered for a variety of age groups. Short week-long sessions are offered in the fall and 6-week classes are offered in the winter and spring. View available classes!
  • Summer Workshops: The Summer Workshop Series provides students with week to two week-long intensives where they learn a play or musical, rehearse, and then perform for their friends and family. These workshops are packed full of fun, learning, and stretching your creative muscles! Special guest instructors often teach and direct the workshops.
  • Masterclasses: One-time, specialty masterclasses are offered in a variety of art disciplines, usually in connection with a specific performance or program offering. Masterclasses are often taught by guest professional artists.

The Wagon Wheel Conservatory is growing to meet your needs! Have a need or desire for future programming? Tell us more about what your needs are!
