On Sunday, May 10 at 5:00 PM, 19 of Northern Indiana’s most talented and dedicated young performers (ages 13–19) will take the stage at Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts.
One performance only.
These students were selected through a competitive audition process to be part of Broadway 360: Wagon Wheel Conservatory’s new year-round pre-professional training program for local teens with Broadway dreams. Over the past five months, they have trained weekly in acting, voice, dance, theatre history, the business of the industry, and more, receiving collegiate-level instruction and mentorship from working theatre professionals.
Developed by Wagon Wheel Professional Theatre Alum and Program Director/Choreographer Ian B. Connor (casting producer for America’s Got Talent, Star Search, and American Idol), alongside Wagon Wheel Resident Music Director and Assistant Professor of Musical Theatre and Voice at Ball State University, Thomas Hall, the program offers a rigorous, well-rounded curriculum designed to challenge, refine, and elevate each performer while preparing them for professional careers in musical theatre and beyond.
This showcase is the celebration of the students’ growth this semester.
Audiences will experience an exciting and dynamic evening of musical theatre performance featuring solo songs, monologues, duets, trios, quartets, and full ensemble numbers. Each piece highlights the talent, individuality and passion of these rising artists.
This performance also marks Broadway 360’s first public showcase, a major milestone as the program prepares to launch its first full season this fall as one of the state’s leading pre-college musical theatre training programs.
