The life of Francesca Johnson, an Italian wife and mother, living in a 1965 Winterset Iowa town wrestles with an unfulfilled life. As she decides to help the photographer, Robert, with his research, they begin to realize there is a spark developing between them. Francesca must deal with the feelings she has, and the implications her actions will have for both her and her family.
