The Symphony of the Lakes, a part-time professional orchestra located in Warsaw, Indiana, is pleased to announce that we will be hosting the Symphony of the Lakes Young Artist Competition. Our organization recognizes that Indiana is blessed with so many wonderful young musicians around the state, and that we want to offer students a unique opportunity to compete and also have an opportunity to perform with the Symphony of the Lakes in the future. Based on two of the greatest works in children’s literature, this fast-paced and witty show is set in Wonderland’s courtroom, where Alice is on trial. Symphony of the Lakes Wind Quintet
On the Wagon Wheel Stage, February 24, 2024, at 7pm the Symphony of the Lakes Wind Quintet will perform as part of the Symphony of the Lakes season. A wind quintet is a chamber music ensemble consisting of five wind instruments: flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, and horn. This instrumental combination creates a distinctive and versatile sound that allows for a wide range of musical expressions and textures.
